Overview

Animal law is a combination of statutory and case law which focuses on nonhuman animals. This includes animal cruelty, laboratory animal welfare, animals raised for food, animal control issues, product testing and animals used in entertainment.

This research guide will provide users with terms to use when searching databases for information on animal law. Books, journals, and law reviews about animal law can be found on the third tab. Finally, links to laws, cases, organizations and blogs focusing on animal law have been provided.
