How Do I Access Electronic Databases?
All databases are available to Charlotte School of Law students, faculty, and staff. Certain databases are also available to library attorney members. Westlaw and LexisNexis will always require a password.
On-Campus Access: Simply click on the database name for access.
Off-Campus Access: Click on the off-campus link under the database description. You will then be asked for a user name and a password.
- Your user name is your last name, your first name (e.g., Smith, Bob).
- Your password is your library bar code number, a 14 digit number which is located on the back of your ID badge. Do not enter the spaces. If you are missing your barcode, please contact the library circulation desk at (704) 971-8574.
Please consult the Database Troubleshooting Guide below if you have any issues with access to these databases.
If you have additional questions about access or about the resources contained wtihin this guide, please call the LUX desk at (704) 971-8573.
